Shelter Of Sea

This large and colorful abstract painting is structured through a horizontal division that suggests depth while resisting a fixed flooring. Built through successive layers of translucent and opaque paint, the surface compresses foreground and distance into a unified field. Areas of saturation are softened and partially veiled, allowing light and color to shift across the composition rather than anchor it. Highlights of oil-based pigment stick create movement and a sense of vitality.
