Love Is Alive (In Situ)

Lisa Atkinson's signature structural colors are applied in layered washes to create a sense of organic accretion over time, while edges are softened at the skyline and in the color pops in order to allow forms to hover between recognition and abstraction. This large abstracted hillside blooms as color fields and forms emerge and dissolve within a continuous spatial environment. The viewing experience suggests an immersive landscape-like environment without establishing a fixed horizon, maintaining a continuous, shifting field.
